Tim Ryan

Portrait

Tim Ryan passionately served the working families in Northeast Ohio’s 13th congressional district in the United States Congress for 20 years. Through his work on the powerful House Appropriations Committee, which controls the expenditure of money by the federal government, he brought back over $1 Billion dollars to help transform the economic and cultural landscape of Northeast Ohio. He is largely credited with leading the economic transformation of Northeast Ohio after years of disinvestment and neglect. Congressman Ryan led the charge on key legislation dealing with digital assets.  Joining with the top Republican on the House Financial Services Committee, Congressman Patrick McHenry, they spearheaded the McHenry-Ryan Keep Innovation in America Act.  The legislation sought to fix the digital asset reporting provisions in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, now law (PL 117-58), and provide clarity to technology innovators and entrepreneurs.
